HBO's Rome - Season One

Last Spring when I was traveling, I picked up a book to read on the plane called “Augustus - The Life of Rome’s First Emperor” written by Anthony Everitt and immediately I have fallen in love once again with Roman history. When I got back to Canada I decided to look for “Rome” - TV series produced by HBO on DVD which is set in the similar time period. Friend of mine recently got the first season of the series as a gift so I borrow it and watched the entire First Season within less than a week.
