McLouth To Rehab In Rome

Atlanta Braves outfielder Nate McLouth is expected to serve a Major League Rehab assignment on Thursday and Friday as a member of the Rome Braves. McLouth strained his hamstring at Dodger Stadium on Aug. 8 and later aggravated it again against the Phillies on Aug. 15. It appeared that he would rejoin the Atlanta team soon but irritated the hamstring on a rehab stint in AA Mississippi last Saturday. McLouth was hitting .258 in 2009 with 15 home runs and 56 RBI.
