The Museo

Real art and virtual reality feature in a new museum just opened in the center of Rome. The Museo del Corso in the Colonna Sciarra Palace, former home of the princes of the same name, since 1969 property of the Cassa di Risparmio di Roma bank, is an idea I fusion of past and future.


Yesterday's art analyzed with avantgarde technologies. Virtual reality at the service of art and, even more so, at he service of art lovers. In one room of the museum, in fact, visitors can interact with the works on exhibition discovering their secrets and history from the time they were commissioned right up to the artist's final touch
Multimedia high technology also leads the visitors through the lovely old palace, an unusual way to discover its stately rooms, from the library which was designed between 1743 and 1750 by Luigi Vanvitelli to the Room of Mirrors, one of the most elegant masterpieces
